Welcome to Konin Store, a leading e-commerce platform and an ecosystem by Konin Cloud. These Terms of Service govern your use of our platform, services, and tools in their entirety. By accessing, registering for, or using Konin Store in any way, you agree to be fully bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any provision herein, please discontinue use of the platform.

1. Introduction & Definitions

Konin Store provides an advanced, cloud-based platform enabling merchants to create, manage, and grow their online stores professionally. In these Terms:

"Platform" means Konin Store and all its services, tools, and applications.
"Merchant" means any individual or business entity registered on the Platform.
"Customer" means an end user who shops from a Merchant's store.
"Services" means all products, tools, and APIs provided by the Platform.

A Ready-Made Partner Network — No Coding, No Extra Cost
We've done months of technical work so you don't have to. Konin Store provides pre-built, fully tested integrations with local banks, licensed e-wallets, and regional shipping carriers in each country — enabling you to simply connect your own existing accounts with your preferred financial and shipping partners in a single step, with zero technical knowledge required. These integrations are built, maintained, and continuously upgraded by Konin Store entirely on your behalf.

3. Account Terms

Registration & Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and provide accurate, truthful, and legally valid information upon registration. You represent that you operate a legitimate commercial entity and bear full responsibility for the accuracy of the information provided.

Business Use Only
Konin Store is designed exclusively for commercial purposes. Personal use is strictly prohibited.

Account Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately upon suspecting any unauthorized access or security breach.

One Account Per Business Entity
Creating multiple accounts to circumvent plan limitations or platform policies is prohibited.

4. Pricing & Fees

A. Subscription Plans — 0% Commission on Your Sales

We are genuine partners in your success — we take zero commission from your sales, regardless of volume. Paid plan fees are billed transparently on a periodic basis, and all platform payments are processed through authorized banks and licensed e-wallets.

B. Operational & Technical Service Fees — We Carry the Weight for You

Behind every successful store on Konin Store, a comprehensive technical infrastructure operates silently around the clock — ensuring your store stays fast, secure, and always available. We bear the real operational costs of specialized third-party technology providers on your behalf. These are services that, if you were to provision independently, would cost significantly more in both time and money. They include, but are not limited to:

Secure Verification: One-time verification codes (OTP) delivered via WhatsApp and approved communication channels, safeguarding every login and transaction for you and your customers.
Security & Digital Protection: SSL/TLS certificates and advanced intrusion protection systems ensuring a fully secure environment at all times.
Global Performance & Speed: Content Delivery Networks (CDN) for lightning-fast store loading worldwide, along with file, image, and video hosting infrastructure.
Scalable Cloud Infrastructure: High-availability servers that automatically scale to handle any sudden traffic surge without downtime.
Instant Notifications & Communication: Push notification systems and automated email services keeping your customers engaged.
Maps & Geolocation Services: Location-based systems and interactive mapping services for precise delivery address handling.
Custom Domain Management: Full technical setup and continuous maintenance of your store's custom domain.

How Fees Are Calculated:
Operational service fees are usage-based — calculated according to the value of completed orders in your store, applied in transparent, country-specific tiers displayed in your merchant dashboard under "Service Fees" at all times.

Full Transparency: Operational service fees are not a commission on your sales or a share of your revenue. They are the infrastructure costs we manage and continuously improve — so your store always performs at its best.

C. Temporary Suspension Policy

In the interest of platform sustainability and fairness to all merchants, should outstanding operational service fees remain unpaid for more than thirty (30) days from the due date:

A warning notification will be sent five (5) days before any potential suspension.
The Platform reserves the right to temporarily suspend your storefront — including your website and customer app — until the outstanding balance is settled in full.
Your store will be reinstated immediately upon payment completion.
Your merchant dashboard remains fully accessible at all times to complete payment and reactivate your store.

D. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Periodic subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing cycle has commenced.
Merchants may cancel their subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Operational service fees applied to completed orders are non-refundable.
In cases of documented technical errors attributable to the Platform, refund requests will be reviewed individually.

E. Price Modifications

The Platform reserves the right to modify subscription plan pricing or operational service fee tiers with a minimum of thirty (30) days' prior notice delivered to your registered email address and merchant dashboard. Continued use of the Platform following the effective date of any price change constitutes implicit acceptance of the new pricing.

5. Tax Policy & Consumer Protection

Adding Taxes to Your Store — Protecting Your Customers and Your Business

In our commitment to complete transparency for end consumers, merchants are not permitted to add any tax charges to their products or services without first fulfilling the following requirements:

Submitting a formal request to Platform management through the Tax section in the merchant dashboard.
Uploading the required legal documentation proving the merchant's active tax obligations with the relevant government authorities in their country — including, for example: a Tax Registration Certificate, VAT Registration Number, or equivalent documentation recognized under applicable local law.
Review and explicit approval by Platform management of the submitted request and documentation.

Upon approval, the tax option will be activated in the merchant's dashboard and displayed with full transparency to customers prior to the completion of any purchase.

Strictly prohibited: Adding any tax charges without prior Platform approval. Konin Store reserves the right to remove any unauthorized tax charges and to suspend the non-compliant merchant's account.

Our Commitment: To protect consumers from unjustified tax charges and to ensure that every tax displayed on the Platform reflects a genuine, legally documented obligation.

6. Prohibited Content & Acceptable Use

Prohibited Content:
You are strictly prohibited from selling, listing, or promoting:

Illegal or government-prohibited materials of any kind.
Counterfeit, replica, or intellectual property-infringing goods.
Hazardous materials, weapons, or controlled substances.
Offensive, pornographic, or violent content.
Any services that violate individual rights or cause harm to others.

Acceptable Use:
You are required to use the Platform in accordance with its intended legitimate commercial purpose and to refrain from any activity that may impair the Platform's performance, reputation, or the rights of other merchants and customers.

7. Intellectual Property & Data Rights

Platform Ownership:
All intellectual property rights related to Konin Store — including designs, source code, trademarks, and algorithms — are the exclusive property of Konin Cloud. Your use of the Platform grants you no ownership rights therein.

Merchant Content Ownership:
All content you upload to the Platform — including images, text, products, and data — remains your property. By accepting these Terms, you grant Konin Store a limited, non-exclusive license to host and display this content solely for the purpose of operating its services.

Customer Data:
Your customers' data belongs to you and your customers. The Platform does not sell this data to third parties or use it for commercial purposes outside the scope of service operation. Further details are available in the Privacy Policy.

Marketing Reference Rights:
The Platform reserves the right to reference your store name for marketing purposes and include it in its client portfolio, unless you explicitly request an exemption in writing.

8. Third-Party Services & Agreements

When connecting your store with any third-party service — whether a payment gateway, shipping carrier, or other service provider — you are also bound directly by that party's own terms and conditions. Konin Store provides the ready-made technical integration, but is not a party to the agreements between you and those partners, and bears no responsibility for their decisions, policies, pricing, or service interruptions.

9. Service Level & Technical Support

Continuous Availability:
The Platform strives to maintain service availability of no less than 99% annually. Scheduled maintenance windows will be announced in advance; emergency interruptions beyond the Platform's reasonable control may occur without prior notice.

Technical Support:
Technical support is available through the official support channels indicated in your merchant dashboard. Response priority and service levels vary according to your subscribed plan.

Official Notifications:
All official communications — including Terms updates, price changes, suspension notices, and other material notifications — will be sent to your registered email address and displayed in your merchant dashboard. You are responsible for reviewing these notifications in a timely manner.

10. Modifications to Terms & Services

Modifications to Terms:
Konin Store reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Merchants will be notified of any material changes at least thirty (30) days in advance. Continued use of the Platform following the effective date of any modification constitutes explicit acceptance thereof.

Modifications to Services:
The Platform reserves the right to add, modify, or discontinue any feature or service, with advance notice wherever reasonably possible. The discontinuation of an existing feature will not result in changes to subscribed plan pricing without prior notification.

11. Account Termination & Data Rights

Termination by the Merchant:
You may close your account at any time via the merchant dashboard or by contacting technical support. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Termination by the Platform:
Konin Store reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate any merchant account, with or without prior notice, in the following circumstances:

Violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
Selling prohibited or unlawful products.
Adding tax charges without Platform approval.
Any activity causing harm to the Platform, its customers, or other merchants.

Data Following Termination:

Your store data is retained for ninety (90) days following termination, during which you may request a full data export.
After this period, all data will be permanently deleted from Platform servers.
In cases of termination due to serious violations, data may be deleted immediately.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

Disclaimer:
Konin Store services are provided "as is" and on a best-effort basis, without warranties — express or implied — beyond what is explicitly stated in these Terms. The Platform shall not be liable for:

Loss of profits or sales resulting from service interruptions.
Damages arising from decisions or policies of third-party partners.
Any content uploaded or displayed by merchants in their stores.
Damages resulting from cyberattacks or security breaches beyond the Platform's control.

Limitation of Liability:
In all circumstances, the maximum aggregate liability of the Platform to any merchant shall not exceed the total amounts paid by that merchant to the Platform during the twelve (12) months preceding the incident in question.

13. Force Majeure

Konin Store shall bear no liability for delays or interruptions in service delivery resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, armed conflicts, governmental actions, regional or global internet service disruptions, or failures by third-party technology service providers.

14. Governing Law & Contact

Governing Law:
These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon. All disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Beirut, Lebanon.
